Join your friends from REI Co-op for an afternoon of fun and getting your bike 'spring ready' including free basic bike tune-ups, a guided bike ride, bike light giveaways, an opportunity to win prizes, and a chance to enter our winter sweepstakes for a $350 REI gift card! Guided Bike Ride: Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike) Guided Bike Ride- Meet at 11 a.m. at the corner of Park Drive and Riverway roads (the start of the Muddy River Pathway across the street from REI Boston/Fenway; GPS coordinates: 42.344507, -71.104461) for a free, guided 10-mile bike ride through the Esplanade area, led by local members of the Boston cycling community. The ride will depart at 11:30 a.m. and will last approximately 90 minutes, and will include a few stops. Register here for the ride. Helmets are required and participants are encouraged to bring ride snacks, water, and a flat kit. If it is actively raining or snowing, the ride will be postponed to Sunday, February 26 at the same time and place.
