  • Group size 45 people
  • Instructor USRT Foundation

The Upper Snake River Tribes Foundation, formed in 1998, is a non-profit inter-tribal consortium that focuses on protecting, enhancing, and restoring the natural and cultural resources of four Native American tribes in the Snake River Basin. USRT's staff will present on their hydroelectric and salmon work, as well as their climate-related work, with a special focus on their recent Tribal Youth Climate Camp. USRT hopes to expand their network of supporters, educate the local community on current environmental and climate related concerns, and help bridge a gap between the Treasure Valley's community members and the tribes that were once very present throughout this region.
