Sierra Club SF Chapter: Take me Snowcamping!

Did you get exited to hear that it snowed in Tahoe? Did you postpone items on the bucket list during 2020? Was seeing Half Dome in snow one of them? Have you thought of camping in Lake Helen in Shasta or seeing Lassen in the winter? Then you should go snowcamping with the Snowcamping Session of the Sierra Club! Learn more about snowcamping, what gear do you need, who to go with, where and how you can train for it ahead of time. We offer three free zoom clinics to give you a summary of what you need to go snowcamping safely. We discuss pre-trip planning, equipment, clothing, shelters, kitchens, food, safety, and the opportunity to join us in our upcoming season (limited space available this year). Whether you want to go alone or with friends or with family, we hope to see you soon and not only teach you what we know best but also take you out with us for one of our trips! Please register for the free zoom clinics on November 24, 29 and December 1! Email snowcamping@outlook.com with any questions.
