Volunteer at Los Angeles State Historic Park with CSPF!
Age 8 and up
Join California State Parks Foundation with ongoing habitat restoration efforts at LA State Historic Park. They will be planting California native plants that provide a healthy habitat for wildlife and allow visitors to connect with these native landscapes. Come explore this unique urban park in the heart of China Town while restoring habitat for the birds and the bees by planting native plants with the California State Parks Foundation! Helping with this family-friendly workday is an excellent opportunity to learn how native plants support the natural ecosystem. Tools, training, snacks, and smiles provided! Volunteering with California State Parks Foundation is always free, but online registration is required to help our volunteer leaders bring the right amount of supplies. Free parking is provided, and Los Angeles State Historic Park even has its own metro stop! Kids ages 8 and up are welcome with a legal guardian and signed waiver. Hope we see you at a workday soon!
