URI's Edgewood Park Volunteers

Attention environmentally-interested parents, families, students, and friends! Help REI and its grant partner, Urban Resource Initiative - New Haven maintain and improve urban New Haven area greenspaces by volunteering for a few hours. Opportunities abound weekly at different parks around New Haven. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. URI will provide all the tools you need and work gloves if you don't have your own. See the weekly schedule on URI's website (link below) or URI's Facebook page for more information. URI New Haven partners with 50 different community groups throughout the New Haven area to maintain and improve our urban greenspace areas. YOU CAN HELP! No experience necessary. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun! Make a difference! Help URI, an REI Grant Partner, to help its community partners to make urban parks throughout New Haven more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Edgewood Park volunteers meet on Tuesday 8/3 from 9am to 11am. See URI's website for details before you come.
