Be a part of the 20th Ohio River Paddlefest, the nation's largest paddling celebration! Join 2,000 paddlers for a trip down the river in kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, and other human-powered craft. Take in the beauty of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky skylines from the water. There are two paddling courses available at Paddlefest -- our traditional 9.0 mi float or new half-distance 4.5 mi paddle, ideal for beginner or young paddlers. Rental kayaks and canoes are available for both routes. Features of Paddlefest include live musical performances on the water, optional paddle up the Mill Creek, and Finish Line Festival. Competitive paddlers can enter one of our Paddlefest races. The Ohio River is closed to all motorized traffic during Paddlefest. All proceeds from Paddlefest benefit Adventure Crew, which provides free outdoor recreation opportunities to city teens in 24 high schools in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Registration is open for Paddlefest. Full event info and registration at ohioriverpaddlefest.org.
