Bike Glenview with Friends of the Forest Preserves

The North Branch Ride, co-hosted by Bike Glenview, returns! We'll explore the beautiful variety of habitats found along the Chicago River, from Bunker Hill Forest Preserve to Harms Woods. You'll encounter prairies, wetlands, and woodlands as we wind our way north. Discover what makes these preserves so important for wildlife and people alike! We'll stop along the way to chat about the ecology and history of the preserves we're traveling through. There will be a longer walk through Blue Star Memorial Woods (just north of Harms Woods) to discuss restoration efforts at that site. This ride is designed for cyclists of all skill levels and will last about 3 hours for a total of 14 miles. The event is free and it does fill up, so you must register to attend. A helmet and mask are required for this ride.
