Beloved by locals and admired by adventurers nationwide, Point Reyes National Seashore offers an oasis of pristine wilderness, sweeping ocean views, and the unique tranquility of an undeveloped coastal landscape. On this 6-mile hike, we'll explore coastal scrub and grassland while keeping an eye out for the critters that call this area home, like hawks and shorebirds. We'll catch incredible views of the Pacific from the tops of coastal bluffs. Along the way, we'll share some hiking tips and offer insight into the region's history and ecosystem. This hike is suited for beginner to intermediate hikers, as you'll need to feel comfortable walking on variable and exposed terrain with moderate elevation gain of about 500 feet. We love this hike, and are pretty sure you will too!
