Celebrate Bay Day with Save the Bay

From October 1 - 31, Save the Bay invites you to connect, explore, and discover the San Francisco Bay Trail and help celebrate the 5th Annual Bay Day. You can enjoy the outdoors and #RecreateResponsibly during the pandemic to maintain your physical and mental well-being. There are two ways you can participate in the Bay Day Trail Challenge. Choose the one that works best for you and yours. COMPLETE 25 MILES Connect directly with the Bay and take on the 25-Mile challenge. You have a full month to explore and choose when and where you want to go. With over 350 miles of trail you can safely walk, bike, run, wheel, or paddle while maintaining six feet of distance.. CHOOSE 5 ADVENTURES Participate in FIVE activities on the trail or in your neighborhood. For this challenge, you can discover the Bay wherever you are. Whether it's kite flying, bird-watching, picnicking, or connecting with local culture through Bay Trail art or history-filled audio tours, there are so many ways to explore. How It Works 1.
