Placer Conservator (Virtual Event)

Each year, Placer Land Trust honors an individual or group that enhances the quality of life in Placer County through resource conservation with the prestigious Placer Conservator Award. And in today's wild times, what better year to celebrate a wildlife hero? That's why we are thrilled to present the award to Sallysue Stein. Sallysue is the founder of Gold Country Wildlife Rescue, and for nearly 30 years has poured her heart and soul into this non-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. We hope you'll join us virtually at this year's Placer Conservator "Gone Wild" edition to help us honor Sallysue and celebrate land conservation! The FREE event can be watched from anywhere with a computer, tablet, or smart tv or phone. Tune in to watch a rehabilitated endangered hawk get realeased back into the wild on a Placer Land Trust preserve, help protect wildlife habitat by participating in our live and silent auction, and much more! The event airs live on Thursday, September 24th. The pre-party starts online at 6:30pm, and the main event begins at 7:00pm. We hope to "see" you there!
