Book a private session and you'll get this entire experience all to yourself--and up to three additional friends or family members. You'll enjoy more one-on-one time with the guide/instructor, more flexibility throughout the session, and a more personal experience for everyone who joins you. Price covers registration costs for up to 4 people to enjoy Castlewood Canyon. You'll explore diverse Colorado wilderness, enjoy spirited hiking and learn lots of local history. On this mellow hike along Cherry Creek, we'll explore the unique ecological zones while keeping an eye out for the critters that call this area home. We'll end up at the historic Castlewood Canyon Dam - remnants of the dam that broke open after heavy rainfall and flooded Denver in 1933. Along the way, we'll share some hiking tips and offer insight into the region's history and ecosystem. This hike is perfect for anyone - no hiking experience required - though you'll need to feel comfortable walking on uneven terrain for about 5 miles. We love this hike, and are pretty sure you will too!
