Ever wonder what it takes to work out like a Brooks Beast athlete? Join REI and Brooks for a weekly workout series led by Coach Danny Mackey of the Brooks Beasts Track Club. Each week, Danny will lead a workout designed specifically for runners of all skill levels with the help of one of the Brooks Beasts athletes. Learn why Danny recommends these exercises for his team and how you can incorporate them into your routine to specifically help with running performance. You'll also learn modifications and have the chance to ask Danny anything in a post workout Q&A. Workouts will take place every Thursday at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET.     Brooks Beast Featured Athlete: Drew Windle. Drew will join Coach Danny in this Thursday's workout! Drew has been with the Brooks Beasts since 2015 and is an eight-time DII champion. A graduate of Ashland University, Drew has continued to grow over the years while being part of the Beasts team. In 2018, Windle won his first global medal-an 800m silver-as the quickest athlete over the last 200m, moving from sixth to second place.
