he Continental Divide Trail (CDT) is the premier ultra-long trail traversing 3,100 miles from Goat Haunt in Glacier National Park to the Crazy Cook Monument on the US/Mexico Border. The Great Divide Mountain Bike Ride runs 2,768 miles from Banff, Canada to Antelope Wells on the US/Mexico border. Race Bannon thru-hiked the CDT in 2015 and biked the GDMBR in 2017. He will provide an overview of his adventures and personal experiences on both routes and discuss the similarities and differences. Race will provide some insights and advice for perspective thru hikers and bike packers along with some gear reviews and update news on the CDT, GDMBR and the new ultra-trail the Montana Trail 406.
