Maybe you're dreaming of your first independent cycling trip in Europe, but don't know how to get started. Maybe you think you have to be rich, young or athletic to start cycling. Not true! After 5 summers exploring Europe, mostly by bike, Maggie knows anyone can do it. Her travel style won't appeal to fast and fearless cyclists, luxury travelers or city lovers. If you prefer the slow, fun, safe, easy, inexpensive way - keeping to trails, small towns and back roads, Maggie has plenty of tips to share! This is an informal session - other travelers invited to share their experiences and favorite trails as well! The St Johns River-to-Sea Loop Trail is an emerging paved multiuse trail that's easily accessible from Orlando and takes you to Volusia County's beautiful Springs and Parks. You can connect from other Orlando trails, ride the Sun Rail, or park at one of the many trailheads. There are plenty of ways to enjoy a day or more on the Loop! March 1st is the Spring to the Springs Family Fun Ride and Trail Celebration with full BBQ feast at Blue Spring State Park - a fabulous time to start cycling! Get 'in the Loop' with Maggie Ardito, President of the River-to-Sea Loop Alliance!
