Gain a fresh perspective on a beloved local treasure with this kayak tour at Lake Jocassee. Lake Jocassee's crystal blue waters are fed by mountain springs and waterfalls, many of which are accessible only by boat. The shores of this lake teem with wildlife and human history, and we'll explore it all on this exciting, 6-8 mile kayaking journey. Ideal for novice and expert paddlers alike, you can hone your kayaking skills while exploring the lake's most idyllic hidden nooks. Learn all about the surrounding ecosystem, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or the threatened Oconne Bell. The best thing about this tour? We do all the planning and packing--you just have to show up. We can't wait to paddle with you!

Please note: an $8 per vehicle charge is required to enter Devils Fork State Park. After proceeding through the gate, continue on Devil's Fork Rd. and follow signs for the non-motorized day use boat launch. Turn right onto Bootleg Rd. and travel to the farthest boat launch on the right. Your REI Guide will be waiting for you in this lot.
