Dreaming of hiking the Appalachian trail? Don't let the season slow you down. Join our expert guides for a winter overnight on one of the most storied sections of the nation's first long distance hiking trail. We will begin our hike in Scenic Crawford Notch State Park near the historic Willey House, then hike 2.7 miles to Ethan Pond Campsite along the Appalachian Trail. No winter camping experience? Not a problem! This course is designed to take the accomplished 3 season hiker and translate their skills to the winter landscape. Our guides will share tips and tricks to stay comfortable in the cold weather and offer insight into the region's history. Hikers should be prepared for a 5.4 mile round trip hike with about 1,500 feet of elevation gain. We can't wait to get outside with you!
