Join us for a discussion, on how we can cultivate a more inclusive outdoor recreation community in the Mount Washington Valley. What practical steps can user groups, local businesses, and local community members take to support more diverse participation in the outdoors, including people of color, people with disabilities, and the LGTBQ+ community? Our Panelists include Janet Zeller from the Forest Service, James Saunders from the Venture Out Project, Becky Smith from REI and Gashim Nyapir from Kismet Rock Foundation. Hosted by: US Forest Service, REI, Access Fund, Backyard Concept, Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, Hubbard Brook Research Foundation, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, Chocorua Lake Conservancy, White Mountain Trail Collective, and The Nature Conservancy.
