CFPA Seasonal Trail Stewardship Opps

Do you enjoy spending your summers outside on the trails? Do you want to learn how to build bridges, cook the best camp meal, and safely operate and maintain a chainsaw? Want to get paid while you're doing it!? Every summer CFPA hires a Crew Leader and a small team of young adult interns to work across the state building, maintaining, and stewarding the 825 miles of Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails in Connecticut. Join the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association's Trails Program Field Coordinator, Brennan Turner, to learn more about their seasonal Trail Crew Internship. Their internship is designed to facilitate hard-skill development and to introduce the interns to the professional conservation community of Connecticut. Come learn more about the history of their Trail Crew Program, the work they do, the skills to be gained, and the fun to be had during a summer of building trails. Age restrictions apply but anyone may come listen to the talk!
