Fun on Fat Bikes - Theodore Wirth Park Loppet Foundation Trails

Ever wondered what it's like to ride a fat bike? Join us for a trail ride at Theodore Wirth Park - Loppet Trails in Minneapolis, on intermediate-level, groomed singletrack specifically for fat biking. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the trails in an exhilarating way and enjoy hot beverages after the ride! Each ride will begin with an overview of fat biking basics and trail etiquette. Instructors will lead the group on a ride of about two hours while providing tips and tricks along the way to maximize your riding experience, and help you gain confidence on intermediate trails. With names like Area 36, Conundrum, and 45 North, the Loppet Foundation trails are bound to put your fat bike handling skills to the test on this intermediate level fat bike tour. Ages 14 and up are welcome; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Please meet at Loppet Trailhead building. Your REI instructors will outfit you with a helmet and fat bike before hitting the trails. Also, plan to arrive early as parking can be a challenge. Overflow parking is available at the Theodore Wirth Chalet, just down the road.
