REI and Latino Outdoors Present: Yo Cuento: A conversation with local BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) voices and leaders in the outdoors. Our relationship with nature, the environment and the outdoors are unique. This roundtable and the questions we will ask our panelists include: what keeps them motivated to contribute their voice in outdoor recreation? Beyond outdoor recreation, how have BIPOC connected to nature - both ancestrally and currently? As BIPOC, we have our own narratives to uncover, porque estamos aqui, and we have always been. There isn't one way to experience the outdoors, so let's talk about it! Vamos a platicar! Panelists: Ami Admire, Indian Health Council's Mental Health Improvement Grant - Denise Williams, Black Girls Bike - Joel Aca, Hike San Diego - Elli Jahangiri, Queer Climbing Collective
