The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers provide proven, research-based skills and education for getting outside in an environmentally sustainable way. Topics for How to Poop in the Woods include: the four goals of human waste disposal, how to dig a good cat hole, how to use a personal portable toilet, what to do when you're on your period, how and where to pee outside, tips for taking a bath when there's no bathroom (from two people who live in a tent year-round), and what to do with toothpaste spit. Jessie Johnson and Matt Schneider travel and camp 200+ nights a year, teaching Leave No Trace skills and ethics all over the country.
