St Vincent Greenway Volunteer Workday

Overview

  • Instructor GRG Foundation

Join REI employees and co-op members for a work day to remove invasive species along the St. Vincent Greenway. This is an important first step in the process that will open up space for native trees and prairie grasses to be planted next spring. With the invasive species gone, the new native trees and plants will thrive-creating habitat for songbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinator species. Opening up this overgrown area will also make it accessible for people to explore and enjoy as they walk along the greenway!
