See and experience the new Allan Jacobs Trail on exclusive stewardship project days with Ojai Valley Land Conservancy focused on the latest trail building design in our local area. For this project, volunteers will be using picks, hoes, and shovels to shape tread and loppers and handsaws to clear the vegetation from corridor. This early morning work projects get you out and back before lunch, and OVLC will provide all tools, material, and training (if weather approaches 85 degrees, the project event ends). All volunteers are welcome, whether you have experience or new to trail work. Please wear close-toed shoes (preferably boots), long pants, t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunblock), gloves, water, and snacks. Space limited; registration required via email at: email@example.com. The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, established in 1987, is a community-based non-profit organization working with partners to permanently protect the open space, natural scenic beauty, wildlife, habitat, and watershed of the Ojai Valley for current and future generations.
