On November 2, hundreds of volunteers will join the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, REI, and our park and non-profit partners for the 12th annual Ridge Trail Day to celebrate and give back to the trail. Team up with San Francisco Recreation & Parks Volunteers will help with trail maintenance and associated habitat restoration along the Philip Arnold trail through the Oak Woodlands. Tasks may include brushing trail side vegetation, removing brush, weeding habitat plantings, and building brush lines. Completing these tasks will help promote visitor access through this historic and beautiful part of the park, while enhancing habitat for native plants and wildlife. Ages 13 and up are welcome. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Project hours 9:00AM - 1:00PM
