Whatever inspires you to get outside and enjoy the world make sure protecting your health is high priority. Becoming an informed traveler is essential to assuring you have the best time possible seeing the sites, not nursing an illness. Your presenter, Public Health Nurse Heather Hill, not only has years of experience providing consultations through the Benton-Franklin Health District International Travel Clinic, but has been on a few adventures herself. During the presentation, you will learn about water and food safety, health insurance coverage for the foreign traveler, country specific vaccinations, altitude sickness, and other important health related information. Whether you are a seasoned traveler or just beginning your bucket list, you will go away with practical tips that will help make your trip even better.
