It's been 60 years since the magnitude 7.5 Hebgen lake Earthquake rocked the Yellowstone area. Have you felt one since then? Because every year, Yellowstone registers between 1000 and 3000 earthquakes! Most of them are too small for us to feel, but they are one of the signs that the Yellowstone Volcano is still active, and that things are changing below our feet. Join Yellowstone Forever Lead Instructor Virginia Miller to hear some of the stories about 1959 quake and some of current research and findings about earthquakes in Yellowstone and beyond.
