National Trails Day is American Hiking Society's signature trail awareness program that inspires people of all ages to discover, engage, and celebrate trails while participating in outdoor activities and trail work projects. Join REI as we team up with a few of our grant partners, San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, San Diego Canyonlands and San Diego Mt. Biking Association to help restoration Gonzales Canyon. Help rehabilitate and restore the existing trail network as well as remove invasive plants and other restoration activities in Gonzales Canyon. All ages welcome! Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes or boots and a hat and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Tools and gloves provided.
