National Trails Day is American Hiking Society's signature trail awareness program that inspires Americans of all ages to discover, engage, and celebrate trails while participating in outdoor activities, clinics, exhibits, and trail work projects. There's an adventure waiting for everyone, since it's America's largest trails celebration. REI Atlanta is partnering with Park Pride and Atlanta BeltLine Partnership for a stewardship project on the Atlanta BeltLine. We will spend the morning removing invasive species and picking up trash on the interim trail north of Piedmont Park. This is a fun work day and a great way to volunteer and give back to the outdoor trails we love. No experience is necessary. Everyone is invited including groups and families. We will be providing food, drinks, a free t-shirt, and a great day of volunteering! Volunteers are invited to join us after the stewardship project from 2-4pm for an "after party" at The Brass Tap in Atlanta. Sierra Nevada will be on hand with free beer samples, SWAG, and raffle prizes for volunteers. Address: 4505 Ashford Dunwoody Rd #32, Atlanta, GA
