Let REI Guides show you the ropes during this rock climbing tour of an iconic destination overlooking the stunning St. Croix River just outside of the Twin Cities. We'll spend two days exploring this beautiful crag, with ample time to push your limit and relax by the fire. We'll build and climb on natural anchors at several classic and popular top rope routes ranging in difficulty from 5.4 to 5.11 along towering basalt cliffs up to 80 feet high. If desired, we may explore bouldering areas nearby. In the evening, we'll set up our group camp and exchange adventure stories over dinner before a restful sleep welcomes another early morning on the crag. Spare time can be spent hiking the trails to glacial potholes and scenic overlooks that make this park breathtaking and unique. Group camping is included. Park passes are required for vehicle entry into the state park.
