This dam, built as part of Franklin D Roosevelt's New Deal, is a marvel of old-school engineering. We'll paddle through a lock in the dam and float with the water as it equalizes 60ft to match the water level on the other side. Ideal for paddlers of all skill levels as we paddle downstream with the flow of river out of the dam almost the entire trip. You can hone your kayaking skills while experiencing this achievement of engineering.
