The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, a national nonprofit organization that teaches children and adults how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, is bringing their award-winning Traveling Trainer program to the Reno REI this February. The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers live on the road, camping 250+ nights each year, and provide engaging and interactive educational programs to teach outdoors-lovers how to reduce their environmental impacts when playing outside. Whether you're a camper, hiker, backpacker, cyclist, paddler or just love playing in your local park, you'll learn the most up-to-date, research-based Leave No Trace techniques for all your favorite activities through interactive and hands-on activities. Ever wonder the best way to wash dishes while camping or backpacking? Or how to close you should be when watching wildlife? Or how to go to bathroom in the woods - and what to do with your toilet paper? The answers just might surprise you!
