Integrate the ancient art of yoga with modern mobility techniques to decrease your risk of injury and increase your enjoyment of outdoor pursuits! This interactive workshop will begin with a yoga practice to warm the body and connect with the breath, led by REI's professional yoga instructor. The first half of the practice opens and prepares your body for a series of mobility techniques. We'll learn how to use common tools that can be used for yoga, stretching and trigger point therapy. Please come dressed in comfortable style clothing that will allow you to move through different postures. Please bring a Nalgene style water bottle as a prop for this class. Yoga mats are available upon request.
This is a 60-minute class beginning with a 45-minute open level vinyasa flow to warm the body and connect with the breath, followed by a 15-minute mobility session.
