Join REI's professional Instructors for a hands on exploration of the winter 10- essentials and emergency preparedness techniques. During this course you will develop the framework and skills to effectively implement the tools to help you manage a winter survival situation. This course will help new and experienced outdoor travelers build a stronger comfort for those unplanned misadventures. Attendees must be 12 years or older to participate.

From I70 take exit #252 (CO-74/Evergreen Parkway), follow CO-74 south for 2.8 miles, turn west onto CO-Rd 66/Squaw Pass Rd, continue for 18.2 miles to Echo Lake. Our instructors will be located at the Echo Lake Warming Hut on Echo Lake (not at the Echo Lake Lodge).
