Have you ever thought about walking the Camino Trail? Over 200,000 people come from all corners of the world every year to walk the Camino de Santiago, one of the world's most renowned pilgrimages. More than a thousand years of history and tradition are the foundation for a multifaceted experience (be it religious, spiritual, education and/or recreational) for every pilgrim who walks all or part of this 500 mile path transversing the diverse geography of Northern Spain from the Pyrenees to the Atlantic. The session leaders, Jim Bilig and Linda Traylor, are two septuagenarian, atypical hikers, who have backpacked on the Camino 5 times, walking over 1000 miles spanning more than 120 days and nights beginning in 2012 and most recently in 2017. They will offer information and answer questions about all aspects of the Camino. How difficult is it? How to train? How to pack? What resources are available? Throughout, you'll enjoy images of the journey and get inspired to plan that trip of your own that you have been dreaming of.
