Overview

Take your climbing to the next level. This 2 day class is designed for experienced top rope climbers wanting to gain the skills necessary to lead and clean outdoor sport climbs. Our instructors will teach you how to lead belay, properly clip bolts, construct sport climbing anchors, and clean a sport anchor. Participants should be comfortable climbing at a 5.8 difficulty, rappelling, and have been climbing consistently for 1 year.
- To refine climbing technique including rope management, route finding, efficient climbing movement, and fundamentals of sport climbing.
- To learn to lead bolted sport climbs and lead belay.
- Learn efficient techniques to clean a sport climbing anchor including rappelling and lowering from a sport anchor.

This is a 2 day class. Each daily session will start at 8:00am and conclude at 4:00pm.

From Golden take CO-93 north, turn left on Pine Ridge Rd, turn right on Brickyard Rd, pass Brickyard Circle, turn right on Hog Back Dr. On-street parking is available at the corner of Hogback Drive and Brickyard Cir.
