Join REI, the Boy Scouts, the Girls Scouts, and Camp Fire for this special session of Wednesdays in the Woods, all about getting kids outdoors. We will be at the Riverside State Park - Bowl & Pitcher kitchen shelter hosting multiple activities for kids of all ages. Kids have the opportunity to choose what activities they'd want to try based on their age and interest. While the kids play, the parents get to talk to crew leaders, fellow parents, and young leaders in these organizations to gain ideas of how to implement these types of activities on your own outdoor adventures. Parents are also welcome to join in on the fun! Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, footwear, snacks, and water to stay safe, comfortable, and hydrated. Discover Pass required to park.
