Basics of Winter Running

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor dark of night will stop you from getting outside to run when you are properly prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear. You don't need a gym or treadmill to get a head start on your spring training or maintain your current conditioning and fitness levels. Our veteran runner, racer and REI staff member will guide you through clothing systems and footwear which will maximize the comfort and enjoyment of your runs. When the days are short, you can get out there and have fun and run, run, run.
