An advanced skills clinic designed to teach the basics of placing traditional protection, common knots for creating multipitch traditional anchor systems, and strategies for distributing forces on anchor points. This hands-on clinic will focus on constructing and evaluating traditional multi-pitch gear anchors. All gear will be provided by REI Outdoor School. This class will focus on elements and principles of anchors and not on climbing movement.
