Kt Miller - A Force of Nature

Bozeman's own Kt Miller is an accomplished athlete, professional photographer, and filmmaker. Whether guiding backcountry ski trips in Yellowstone National Park for women or summer climbing trips to Granite Peak, the highest summit in Montana, Kt is an inspiration to all who meet her. She produced, filmed, and edited a documentary film called "Shifting Ice + Changing Tides" featuring a group of six women who sailed from Iceland to Greenland to explore the remote coastline, pioneer new ski descents, and collect scientific data on the effects global warming is having on our planet. Featured in several film festivals, it was the winner of the Best Environmental Message at the 2016 Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival. REI is committed to creating more opportunities for women to spend more time outdoors. That's why this year, we're offering more classes, events and trips designed for women than ever before. Join us, and let's make outside the largest level playing field on earth. Learn more at REI.com/forceofnature.
