Get your Appalachian Trail thru-hike off to the right start with REI's Shuttle Service to the A.T.'s Southern Terminus at Springer Mountain. All REI shuttles leave from the Perimeter location. Arrive before the posted shuttle time to stock up on fuel and last-minute supplies, receive a gear tune-up from our experts, or ship resupplies to your first mail drop. We'll have one of expert backpacking instructors drive you to the Springer Mountain trailhead or another of your choice. Unless otherwise arranged, hikers will be dropped off at Springer Mountain, a short hike away from Springer Mountain Shelter or Stover Creek Shelter. Return shuttles are also available and can be arranged by emailing atlanta-os@rei.com.
