Colorado offers a wide variety of challenges for the mountain bike riders including ledges, water-bars, rock gardens, ditches, and fallen trees across the trail. Join our professional instructors for a skills day focusing on wheel lifts and learn the techniques to attack these trail features with confidence! Along with increasing the rider's balance and connection to the bike, wheel lifts also allow for quick repositioning on the trail when needed. We will provide detailed breakdowns of wheel lift skills along with a progression of drills to help you improve your performance. This session will cover wheel lifts such as the front, rear, level and pedal punch front (power wheelie). This session will not focus on jumps or drops. Bikes and helmets are available for participants if needed, but bringing your own well-tuned bike is highly recommended for skills retention. This session is intended for experienced riders with at least one season and/or 20 hours of off-road riding experience.

  • Improve technique in specific skills areas
  • Enjoy personalized instruction in a small group format
  • Focus on developing good riding habits
