Price includes round trip ferry from Tiburon, gear valet service to and from the campsite from Ayala Cove, gourmet camp dinner, s'mores provided by prAna, live music and camp breakfast Sunday morning along with sunrise yoga hosted by prAna. Sufferfest Beer will be there to celebrate the outdoors with you and serve up rewards at happy hour. Danner and Leatherman will be providing fun activities for the whole family! We will camp at Fort McDowell, an easy 2 mile walk from the ferry dock. REI will transport your camp gear while you explore the island on foot. Once you arrive at camp, you can choose your site to camp in historic Fort McDowell, and relax in the REI camp lounge while you await happy hour and the evening ahead. Campers bring a daypack, snack or lunch, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, flashlight and personal clothing and toiletries. REI will provide an amazing and memorable dinner and breakfast that will be prepared and cooked on site with the freshest of ingredients.
- Campers will need to carry their gear from Tiburon parking onto the ferry and off the ferry to Ayala Cove picnic area, rolling carts or luggage work well for this.
- Campers are welcome to take any of the regularly scheduled Tiburon Ferry departures on Saturday and meet REI at Ayala Cove. The Tiburon ferry ticket is covered by REI.
- Campers may also take another ferry to Angel Island from a different location, such as SF, the ticket would not be covered by REI.
