Join REI Outdoor School for a women's wilderness survival class that could save your life. During this class you will learn practical tips and strategies that every outdoor traveler should know: emergency priorities; shelters; locating and accessing drinking water; building a fire; and how to make your own emergency kit. You will also participate in interactive scenarios to practice and hone your skills.

Bring to class:

Closed toed shoes
Daypack - Large enough to carry water, food and layers.
Personal Prescription Medications - Including, but not limited to, epinephrine auto-injectors for anaphylactic allergies.
Snacks
Sun Protection - Lip balm, sunscreen, wide-brim hats, etc.
Water Bottle
Weather Appropriate Clothing - Moisture wicking synthetic or wool layers to help keep you comfortable and/or dry.
