How to Ride a Bike: One-on-One Instruction

Are you looking to learn how to ride a bike, but would like to do so in a private "one-on-one" class? Join us for a private one-on-one instruction session with an Outdoor School cycling instructor. We will provide customized instruction on beginning bike skills and how to ride a bike. Open to adults or kids aged 5 and up. Bikes and helmets can be provided, if requested during registration.

What to bring with you
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time for parking and paperwork considerations. We recommend that students bring their own bike and helmet to learn and practice. Bikes must be in a safe and ride-able condition. A limited selection of bikes and helmets are available to borrow. If you need to borrow a bike contact or Sierra-OS@rei.com at least 72 hours prior to the class. Parents must stay on site during the class.
