Wilderness Survival: Winter Skills

Join REI Outdoor School for a wilderness self-reliance class that could save your life. During this class you will learn practical tips and strategies that every outdoor traveler should know including winter emergency priorities, how to make an emergency shelter, and how to make your own emergency kit with all the essentials. You will also participate in interactive scenarios to practice and hone your skills. This class is designed for anyone who spends time outdoors during the winter.
From boulders to bikes to boats, Rhode Island's Lincoln Woods State Park truly has it all. Boasting high-quality textured granite rocks, Lincoln Woods draws boulderers from throughout the Northeast and beyond. The park is also home to some of the best mountain biking in the state with over 600 acres of trails. Swimming, boating, and hiking are also available at this truly remarkable state park.
