Gain a fresh perspective on a beloved local treasure with this 3 hour kayak tour of the Palos Verdes peninsula, along the coastline of Southern California. From the beach we will launch sit-on-top tandem kayaks, paddle through the surf, then set out on a scenic ocean adventure. Experience breath-taking views of Catalina Island and have the opportunity to paddle through forests of giant kelp teeming with marine life. Along our tour we will have the opportunity to paddle by the Point Fermin Lighthouse and Sunken City historical sites. Learn all about the surrounding ecosystem and maybe even catch a glimpse of some curious harbor seals, pods of dolphins, pelicans, and sea lions. Previous kayaking experience is preferred but not required. You should be prepared to paddle through rolling waves in open seas and our guides will give you tips along the way. The best thing about this tour? We do all the planning and packing, you just have to show up. We can't wait to paddle with you!

REI Outdoor School Van will meet in the parking area past the bathhouse towards the break wall. Do not go left into the aquarium or boat launch parking. There is an hourly parking fee at Cabrillo Beach. Cash and Card Accepted, Parking is $1 per Hour. Limited free street parking is available.
