Boston Pedals Together Film Festival: Premiering 'The Right to Joy'

Join your local co-op community for a cycle-inspired film festival. As part of REI's Boston Pedals Together campaign, REI locations in MA invite you to the premier of the newest REI Co-op Studios short film, Right to Joy. This film tells Izzy Sederbaum's story of being a transmasculine person within the outdoor and cycling communities who has also overcome the trauma of surviving a cougar attack while cycling. Also included in the film festival are two other REI Co-op Studios original short films. Cycle of Ancestry is about Mario Ordonez-Calderon, a first-generation Mayan American who bikepacks 1,500 miles through the Yucatan Peninsula to explore his cultural heritage and learn about how your roots can shape your future. Pedal Through will also be featured, a film that follows director Analise Cleopatra as she discovers the healing and joy of mountain biking. Looking for more cycle-related activities in your area?
