Join Us at Summit Sisters: The Women's Wilderness Annual Retreat!

Each year, Women's Wilderness hosts a three-day retreat full of workshops, delicious food, mindfulness and yoga instruction, and outdoor activities from trail running to art journaling to foraging and more.

This year, the retreat is taking place August 20-22 at Magic Sky Ranch.

There are three lodging options (tent, basic cabin, deluxe cabin), and registration includes the lodging option of your choice, delicious and nutritious meals, access to all workshops and presenters, any supplies needed for workshops, and a swag bag!

Find out more about the retreat and register here

Historically, we’ve offered a variety of scholarships and discounts to lessen financial barriers for participants. We want folks to be able to attend in ways that feel both meaningful and financially feasible. Read on for how we are structuring these reduced rate options this year.

Scholarships

REI has generously provided us with scholarships for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and/or living with a disability to attend Summit Sisters. While this scholarship will cover the majority of the registration fee, we do ask that recipients pay an amount that feels appropriate and represent their commitment to the scholarship and attending the retreat.

Apply here. DEADLINE = AUGUST 4, 2021

You will be able but not required to share additional personal information although we may ask follow up questions to ensure that we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for you. Women’s Wilderness staff will review applications and let participants know by August 6, 2021.

If you have any questions, need support with your application, or would like more information, please reach out to us at registration@womenswilderness.org

Work Trade

Want to help make this event a success AND attend at a discount?

We are excited to offer the work trade registration at Summit Sisters 2021. This is a really cool opportunity to attend the event (all meals, lodging, workshops included!) at a discount. We invite you to attend Summit Sisters with a $125 discount in exchange for your commitment to fulfilling the work trade agreement. The discount is based on the amount of labor expected (5 hrs) at a rate of $25/hr.

You are asked to be present at the retreat site early on Friday, August 20 to attend a work/trade prep meeting, and then also assist with a total of a 5-hour shift(s) at the event (helping with meal preparation, event setup/clean up, check-in, workshop assistance). There are a limited number of these spots so we ask that you take this position seriously. We will communicate with you and the other volunteers in the weeks prior to the event to organize work trade shifts.

To sign up, use coupon code worktrade2021 when you register. As part of your registration paperwork, you will be required to sign an agreement outlining the expectations of this role.

Group Rates

If you learned about Summit Sisters from a group, organization, outfitter, or similar, use code sscommunity2021 to get $5 off.

Groups of 5-9 and 10+ can email registration@womenswilderness.org to get a special code to take $10 or $20 off each participant’s registration fees.

*Our programming is open to anyone who identifies as woman, female, femme. This includes cisgender, transgender, and non-cisgender women. We also welcome any gender-non-conforming and non-binary individuals who are comfortable and want to participate in female spaces.

If there is anything pertaining to your gender or gender performance that you would like us to know, please contact us at registration@womenswilderness.org.

COVID NOTE: We are closely monitoring trends and guidance around the COVID-19 delta variant. While we are not planning to require masks for fully vaccinated participants at this time, we may update this and other policies, which are available to read on our website, www.womenswilderness.org
