Thule Roof rack and Thule Hullavator

1. I have Thule Crossroad 450 roof racks on my 2015 Subaru Forester.  Is this compatible with the Thule Hullavator Pro?

2. How high does the Thule Hullavator Pro extend up from the roof rack? (I.e. will it fit in my garage?)

Thanks!

Hi there @Debbiemarcus57!

Thanks for reaching out to us! To answer your first question, the Hullavator Pro should be compatible with your existing rack. Just let us know exactly which bars you have to be sure!  This rack is designed to fit with square bars, wing bars, aero bars, and pro bars.

As far as how it operates, this video shows the rack in use which is better than any description I could provide. It’s likely that a few measurements will be needed for you to then decide whether or not you will have the clearance needed to get into your garage.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

@Debbiemarcus57 thanks for following up with us over email with a few additional details!

The Thule Hullavator Pro fits all Thule rack systems and round bars, excluding the Thule Edge. Do you know the model of crossbars you have? Or could you upload a picture for us to verify? The "Crossroads" you reference in your email are the foot packs that attach from the side rails on your car to the crossbars - as long as your crossbars are also Thule brand (and not the Edge model), the Hullavator Pro will be compatible with your crossbars.

In terms of dimensions, the Hullavator Pro are 36" x 16" x 6" - so, they'll add 16" of additional height to the top of your crossbars.

Please let us know if we can help with any additional questions or information!
