We are in Northern Delaware. I’m not from the area so I’m as familiar with what’s around. I have heard great things about the Maryland parks. Just hoping for us all to get some trail legs so that when are older and hike in a few miles to a site possible.

I am looking for great areas where we can set up a base camp and go on hikes during the day. I have 2 small children so back packing isn’t quite an option yet, but would love to get as close an experience like that with them as I can.
